What can Counselling help with?
Counselling can help you to process a range of difficult emotions. However, I specialise in working with individual clients who have experienced issues in the past that are still affecting them today. This could be abuse or trauma, or it could be trying to make sense of complex relatioonships. Whatever it is that is causing you to feel distressed is worth exploring because you matter.
What might be the benefits of Counselling?
Counselling is about giving you the space to be heard without any judgement, this in itself can feel really important as it can give you the chance to share your story, sometimes for the first time. When people attend counselling and start to work through their thoughts and feelings with a trained professional, they start to gain new insights and a greater understanding of themselves and their needs. As a result of this, they begin to make positive decisions for themselves and feel more confident and content. Many have also said that their relationships with others have also improved.
